Reading the Migration Map offers concluding comments on Klassen’s 2017 Artist in Residence (AiR) at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster, Canada.

This publication owes much to the experiences surrounding the Anvil Centre residency. I am grateful to Kristina Fiedrich, Biliana Vekova and Oana Capota of Art & Heritage; as well as Alan Hill, City of New Westminster Poet Laureate. A huge thanks goes to all of the participants of Reading the Migration Library, and especially fellow AiR, Elisa Yon, who let the project inspire her workshops and sculpture. I acknowledge the inspiration of Douglas Saunder’s Maximum Canada (Penguin Random House, 2017) which is quoted.”
